ScanIQ ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Vexai LLC. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.
ScanIQ processes documents and images entirely on your device. We do not upload your scans or document content to our servers.
When you use AI-powered features (Q&A, summarization, translation), your document text is sent to our secure proxy server and forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API. This data is used only to fulfill your request and is not stored by us.
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information.
If enabled, your documents are synced via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except as required to provide the service (Anthropic for AI features, Apple for subscriptions).
Documents are stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud. You can delete them at any time from within the app.
ScanIQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
